At SRT we
operate only premium equipment. We have 100% late model International's
and Freightliner conventional condos and midroofs. We will have
over 900 tractors that or either company owned or under contract
from Owner Operators, SRT’S tractors are all air-ride equipped, and
each truck is installed with QUALCOMM'S Omni-Tracks satellite
communications system which this year we are upgrading to the NEW
MCP200, the PRE-PASS DOT automatic weigh system, EZ-PASS to I
system, and the MCP 200 is capable of IN-CAB E-MAIL, this option
may be activated in the future..
We aren't lacking under the hood either. Our
trucks are powered by 435-500 horse Detroit and Cummings engines.
Combine that with EATON 10 Speed transmissions and Eaton rear-ends,
and you get an astonishing 1650 ft/lbs. of torque.
That means no more worrying about being able
to pull that next hill. Our newest trucks and all the trucks that
we are receiving are engine brake equipped for added safety in the
mountains.
We have over 1,500 dry-van and refrigerated
trailers which are also air-ride equipped. Our trailers are chiefly
53 foot Great Dane, Wabash or Utility and our reefers are powered
by Thermo King and Carrier units.
