At Southern
Refrigerated Transport, we know that our drivers are the heart of
our company and without them there would be no SRT.
The number one priority for our drivers is to
drive, not to load and unload 6 or 7 times per week. If the truck
isn't rolling, you can't make money, and if you aren't making
money, neither is the company. That is why our Fleet Managers
schedule your trips so that your average length of haul is 1200
miles, and load you with freight that is 99% no touch.
We also offer qualified drivers a safety
bonus, mileage bonus, and a driver referral bonus that can earn you
money for every qualified driver you recruit for SRT.
Family time is valued at SRT, and we feel we
have a great home time plan. We also offer a passenger program
where, after certain criteria are met, we welcome your family
members to go on the truck with you. With our one week paid
vacation, you can spend even more time at home, and not worry about
paying next month's bills.
We have great medical and dental insurance
with Blue Cross-Blue Shield, with your choice of single or family
coverage with disability and cancer insurance available. Also
offered is our prescription card plan to help cover medication. SRT
provides a company paid life insurance policy and for those of you
who like to plan ahead, SRT offers the 401k retirement plan with
company matched contributions.
